With a sound fresh as the present, and a voice reminiscent of classic soul, Yellowknife born and Vancouver raised Singer/Songwriter Warren Dean is turning heads and melting hearts with his own brand of millennium soul.

Managed by Mitch Davis of The Artist Partnership and produced by Canadian Mike Southworth, Warren defines what it is to be an artist.  His music demonstrates the rare ability to fuse the classic sounds of old school soul music, the edgy flavor of hip-hop and the romantic themes of traditional R&B.  Recent live showcases at NXNE and Junofest, as well as private listening party for Warren’s new album in progress have already garnered critical acclaim.

Recorded in Vancouver, Warren’s Debut Album showcases 12 songs including co-writes with industry up-and-comers, Grammy Award winning writers and also features collaborations with Canadian Hit songstress Divine Brown and many others.

Additional new songs being worked on right now by Songwriter Hall of Fame and Grammy Winner Diane Warren, as well with new hit producer/songwriter Dapo Torimiro (John Legend, Brandy, David Archuleta), Lauren Evans (Natasha Bedingfield, Jazmine Sullivan) and Andrea Martin (Leona Lewis, En Vogue, Toni Braxton and Angie Stone)

Mixing was done in New York with Grammy Award Winning Mixer Jonnie “Most” Davis who has worked with Santogold, Outkast, Pink, Notorious BIG, Mary J Blige, TLC, Marc Anthony, Keith Sweat, Toni Braxton, Elliott Yamin, Sean “P Diddy” Combs, the upcoming Laura Izibor and Johnny Mathis albums.  Also mixing is the amazing New York producer/mixer Scott Jacoby, who has worked with John Legend, Naturally 7,  upcoming Laura Izibor album and many more. Additionally, two tracks have been mixed by Jon Gass who has worked with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Boys II Men, Madonna, Mary J Blige, Aretha Franklin, Aaron Neville and many many more.

Following a successful independent Christmas record release with partial proceeds benefiting the Canadian Red Cross, Warren has been voted onf of BC’s Best by BC Business Magazine.  He was also featured in CBC’s Documentary “Make Some Noise” and named one of Canada’s top up-and-comers by CanWest Global national publications and Canada.com

Warren is a huge supporter of humanitarian causes including The Canadian Students for Darfur bringing awareness to the Sudan Crisis and was chosen as one of the featured artists supporting the new War Child Campaign “Get Loud” devoted to children affected by war.

He has recently been featured on Entertainment Tonight Canada and other entertainment programs.  Additionally was subject of a  Toronto Star cover page article on Monday 7/25/11.  With exciting promotional partnerships with Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Gilly Girl, Roots Clothing and Qoola Yogurt,  Warren is excited to have the fall of 2011 looking like a very exciting time.
